Whatever you are physically…male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy-all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but you are the light inside

Cassandra Clare

The Spiritual Warrior can be described as an archetype on a journey to self-discovery to benefit others. Acutely aware he climbs the mountain of true self-insight and ‘invites others on this exciting voyage of discovery and self-revelation’ Vicky Wall, The Miracle of Colour Healing.

Combining the energies of the primary red (grounding awakening) and the secondary violet (transformation), lightful magenta creates a cocoon for us as we practically apply in everyday life who we are becoming. The deep magenta absorbs all colours so connecting us to the depths and heights at the centre of our being.

Bottle 25

The first bottle in the Aura-Soma range with a magenta hue fraction is Bottle 25, Florence Nightingale, Purple/Magenta. The earlier key phrase for this bottle was ‘A pioneering spirit - a quest for spiritual knowledge’ a fitting description for the Knight of Wands in the Tarot which this bottle represents. ‘The Knight rides in defence of the realm. He is courageous, competent and has control of his horse (very often the symbol of our lower nature), they have become as one…His quest is for inner and spiritual knowledge…The Knight is associated with the spiritual warrior within us’ Mike Booth.

Bottle 67

The Knight of Pentacles is associated with Bottle 67, Love from Above, Magenta/Magenta. In the Aura-Soma set of Tarot Cards, the Knight holds a shield on which is a pentacle, symbolic of the element of earth. The pentacle not only represents the earth element but also that the Knight’s actions are to be in the service of the earth: ‘The magenta’s caring, warmth and attention is that which he brings to all he does, he has many responsibilities and much work to do…’ The spiritual warrior within each of us ‘practices every day to bring recognition of the Divine Presence into all things’ Part of the keynote for Bottle 67.

With growing awareness we pay attention to everything we do; every act becomes conscious: when the doing itself becomes the focal point of our attention, our doing becomes a channel through which consciousness enters this world. There is quality in what we do, even in the simplest act such as turning the pages of a book or washing our hands. This embodies the magenta process in Aura-Soma.

Awareness serves as the backdrop for consciousness, it contains all, it is boundless. In a way it is similar to deep magenta: it contains the entire rainbow spiral of colour frequencies and spurs us on toward wholeness, it absorbs all colours so connecting us to the depths and heights at the centre of our being.

Bottle 107

Bottle 107, Archangel Tzaphkiel, Opalescent Turquoise/Deep Magenta is a call from deeper realities and dimensions to raise the bar, so that ‘Our humanity is transformed by the commingling of the human and the divine within us’ Mike Booth

Choosing magenta and deep magenta may mean that coupled with breath and meditation we could in time experience the culminating realisation that opens a deeper Knowing of our Source returning to our daily affairs with an awareness that stretches to infinity at one end and reflection on the other.
