ASIACT Astrology - September 2013

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like

Lao Tzu

Bottle 109

Olive is made up of primary yellow and secondary green: it creates the bridge between the yellow of the solar plexus and the emerald green of the heart. On the body this bridge is represented by the diaphragm, a dome-shaped sheet of muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen, above and below, so to speak. It is attached to the spine, ribs and sternum and without it the simple act of breathing - taking life in and letting go - would not be possible. "The olive process is always 'letting go' of the bitterness where the olive goes through the process of marination to reveal the gold within". Aileen Divine, Further Thoughts on Zachariel, Bottle 109, magenta/mid-tone olive.

Bottle 102

Within the yellow we celebrate our separateness, the green reminds us of our interconnectedness with each other and our earth (heart). Integrating matter and spirit, head and heart, judgement and forgiveness seems to be the fundamental challenges of our time. And to let go of our conditioning, to let go of that which we have for years relied upon to determine our actions, takes immense discipline and focus. We are truly revaluing 'Upon what do we build the foundations of our lives?' Keywords for Bottle 102, Archangel Samael, deep olive/deep magenta. Every bottle with olive could support us to progress from judgement to discernment, from humiliation to humility, from servitude to service.

Very often, midway through our time of transition, when the commitments and structures of the past may no longer be viable for us, yet it is not the time to either break loose or wholeheartedly embrace new priorities, any of the eight bottles with an olive fraction is invaluable. Although we do not yet clearly know what our next step is, we can discover it only by consciously disallowing the intellectual gymnastics and allowing ourselves to drift a little, obeying the voice of our intuition, and trusting that it will lead to new sources of meaning. Especially with Bottle 92, Gretel, pale coral/olive we are able to gain a 'Clarity of direction that ensues from trusting our intuition, as we trust the true essence of ourselves'. Equilibrium Resource Cards.

Olive in Aura-Soma represents hope; most likely during a process of change we question our priorities, perhaps undermining our faith in ourselves, other people and even at times, the Divine, eroding the very foundations of our existence with vague feelings of hopelessness and despair. Applying the contents of a bottle with an olive fraction could help us understand that such questioning can be constructive and that we do not have to reject all sources of meaning in our life. Olive provides hope even when we're feeling disillusioned, supporting us to discover those elements of reality we have neglected to incorporate into our value system.

Hope is our personal cheerleader in the game of life ever egging us on to live with exuberance and joy. Archangel Ratziel, Bottle 106, misty pale olive/misty pale lilac is the archangel of personal empowerment and teaches that life is an alchemical process and with presence, consciousness and a soft focus, change and transformation occur in a natural and peaceful way.

By loosening the structures in which we live we become able to flow into new structures and commitments that are more enriching than those of the past.
