The day man recognised the beauty in a flower he made a leap in evolutionary consciousness: he was able to appreciate something that did not directly contribute to his survival. Flowers are more ephemeral and more delicate than the plants from which they stem and seeing the beauty in a flower could remind us, if even for a brief, shining moment, of the beauty that is an essential part of our own divine life essence. We feel the joy of divine love as we recognise the flower as one with our own formless essence.
When we are alert and able to breathe in the beauty and the fragrance of a flower within the stillness of the mind, we connect to the world of the unseen, the world of magenta.
Combining the energies of the primary red (grounding awakening) and the secondary violet (healing service), magenta reminds us to slow our process down so that we are able to celebrate creation by putting our attention and care into the little things: to ground our service in every waking moment.
There are eight Equilibrium bottles with deep magenta as the lower fraction and nine with light-filled magenta in either the upper or the lower fractions. Bottle 19, Living in the Material World, red/violet and bottle 65, Head in Heaven, Feet on Earth, violet/red, both shake up as magenta. Choosing any of these bottles could support you to find the spiritual courage to acknowledge the whole of you, the good, the bad and the beautiful. As you accept the all of you, you are able to feel the love that asks for no guarantees or insurance, a love that only loves. To transcend in this way is to pierce through the seductive natural born conditions. Before we celebrate another spring we need to take stock of who we are becoming. Can we be liberated from the need for being rooted in one particular place and being the product of a particular set of conditions? Can we become an agent of universal wholeness, a life of service conditioned only by the will of the whole?
We are entering the Aquarian Aeon; our world is not as it was before: rescue is in order and deep magenta is associated with the source of all that is, with energised compassion and deep caring - also for the repressed and unconscious. Olive is opposite magenta on the colour rose and symbolises heartfelt leadership that allows the release of past bitterness and hope for the future. Equilibrium bottle 102, Archangel Samael, deep olive green/deep magenta brings the possibility of a new hope for a change of being.
